Founded in 1901 as the Colored Industrial and Agricultural School, Grambling State University has evolved into a prestigious center of learning dedicated to empowering students and communities. Embarking on the Campus Tour

Our journey begins at the historic Favrot Student Union, a vibrant hub of activity and culture that serves as the beating heart of campus life at Grambling. With its lively atmosphere and bustling energy, the Student Union is a gathering place where students come together to socialize, study, and celebrate their shared heritage and accomplishments.

Next, we make our way to the Eddie G. Robinson Museum, a tribute to the legendary football coach whose leadership and legacy have left an indelible mark on Grambling State and the broader HBCU community. Inside, we’re immersed in the story of Coach Robinson’s remarkable career and the profound impact he had on generations of student-athletes.

As we explore the campus pathways, we’re captivated by the beauty of the landscape—the sprawling lawns, towering oak trees, and historic buildings that echo with the footsteps of generations past. Everywhere we turn, we encounter evidence of Grambling’s rich heritage and enduring legacy, from the iconic Tiger Stadium to the revered Rosenwald Hall.
